The Rocket Boys Festival (RBF) is again being held in Beckley, West Virginia after moving to Raleigh County from McDowell County in 2012. The home of the RBF will be the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine at New River Park and Tamarack in Beckley, West Virginia.

After hosting the event for the past 13 years in Coalwood, WV, the Festival Committee  decided it was no longer viable to continue the festival there, and in 2012 the festival was moved to Beckley.
